Half Day Jam Courses at LBJ shop in Clapton, London

Come and make jam with Lillie O’Brien in her shop for an inspirational half day workshop.  

The half-day workshop will focus around the basics of jam making, use of ingredients that we like to call ‘friends of jam’, working with seasonal fruits, and the chance to make your own jam followed by afternoon tea with Lillie and a chat about the world of jam.

Please note: at the end of the day you will have at least 5 x 220g jars filled with your jam creations to take home. If you are travelling from abroad to attend the course, you will not be able to take these as hand–baggage on airlines so please check if you can place luggage in the hold.

Group size: Small, to ensure that each person can get individual attention from Lillie, participants will work in pairs.

What to bring:

Nothing, we will provide everything.

You will be able to take home your jam creations, notes & LBJ tote bag.

You will have your own work area and be in a group of 2 people. Each group will be equipped with a gas hob, jam pan, knives, chopping boards, ingredients, bowls and an apron.

Cancellation policy – sadly we don’t except cancellations but do understand that sometimes things might come up. We can keep your ticket and offer you a place for any future workshops on a first serve basis.

Please email Lillie if you wish to book a private group class, maximum of 6 participants. Currently there are no workshops for 2020.
